My belatedly condolences to Family Garza, great person, always with a positive attitude irradiating peace. Unfortunately I just find out the loss of a Great Friend, we'll meet again my friend just not yet.

A Tribute to my Husband Jes. 
My husband Jes was and is the love of my life. He was a gentleman and a scholar. Always very loving and supportive of our marriage. He was truly a family man devoted to me and I to him as well. He loved his 4 children and his 3 Grandchildren and missed seeing them those near and far. My Jes was a very accomplished man and he took pride in his responsibilities at home and at his job as a Police officer.  I loved being married to him and he loved being married to me. We were a very happy couple who respected each other and always did fun things together.  I admired him for the faith he had in God, for his intelligence and the way he felt about doing the right thing. I will always love you Jes, I will always cherish your love for me.  I was always so proud to walk beside you.    Please rest in peace my love.

My sincere condolences to the Garza family.  Capt Garza was one of my first captain’s when I began my law enforcement career at Harris County PCT 1.  He was a great leader and someone I learned a lot from.

My condolences to Maria and to Jess's children.  Jess was my captain when we both worked for precinct 1 many years ago.  He always greeted me with a smile and then that was usually followed by a lively discussion.  He was a man of faith and shared the Word with those that wanted to listen.

On May 31st, when I got the news my heart broke.  I wanted to believe you would be ok and life would go back to what it was before even better.  But God said it was time, for that we have to try to adjust without you.  I will forever remember our family memories, your sweet and kind words, our Limu memories, and last but not least our political talks.   I will surely miss my emails from you on things that were important to you-faith & love for people, our country and good 'ol politics.  Lexi & Tori are heartbroken.  We will miss you brother-in-law.  I will never ever forget your great smile every time we would see you.  You are now with our father in heaven.  This will not be a good-bye but see you later till we meet again.  Rest in eternal Peace brother-in-law.  You are engraved in our hearts.  Love you.

PS, that leather jacket though was my favorite picture of you.  Be lookin' all cool and stuff:).  Maria said I could have it, I just might take her up on that.

I have only known Jess for a few years but loved every visit with him and Maria.  We shared Taylor, Shawn and grandbaby Jett.  We loved our gatherings and had such a great time.  Lee especially loved visiting with Jess about his years as a Houston police officer.  Jess had the best smile!  Our prayers Maria, Jess's kids and the whole family.

It was such an honor meeting you and your wife Maria.  You will be missed by so many. My condolences to your loved ones and they will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

I loved my dad.. he gave me so much and there's  so much more that I wanted to say to him, to thank him... we think we've got all the time in the world to say those things..., but we don't... life is just too damn short...  rest in peace daddy... I'll miss you and you’ll always be in my heart... I love you...

I first met Jes on May 28, 2018, Memorial Day, and the day he and Chita came to Round Rock, Texas to visit my Mom, Maria Zamora Laurel.  I never thought that the first day I met him would be the last day also.  What a wonderful, caring and intelligent man he was.   I can't believe he has left us.  May he rest-in-peace.   Chita, thank you for taking the time to come to visit.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Jesse.  

I will never forget your birthday party when you and Justo sang and sang and sang all the tejano favorites....loved you then love you now and will miss your wisdom and guidance that you always had the time to share with me when I needed leadership advice. You always had the time and your beautiful wife was there to help too.
