1923 - 2018
Jessie M. Pechacek (Janowski) Green age 95 of Spring, Texas, was surrounded by her family, as she went peacefully to be home with our Lord, on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.
Born in Houston, Texas, on March 22, 1923, her parents were Rose Mae and George Janowski. Jessie was a student at Incarnate Word Academy soon after she met her beloved husband, Anthony Michael Green, Sr.
A believer in Jesus Christ, Jessie was a devout catholic, giving her time as a member of the Altar Society at both Assumption and St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Churches. In addition to being a loving mom, Jessie was also a nurse (LVN) at St. Joseph Hospital and several private medical practices in Houston, Texas.
Jessie was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Anthony, her daughters Rosemary Green and Mary Ann Kopecky and son Anthony ‘Michael’ Green, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Parker (Billy) of Hockley, Texas, and nine grandchildren: Paul Kopecky (Heather) of Leawood, KS; Charlie Kopecky (Tracey) of Montgomery, TX; Cassandra Kopecky Craig of Texas City, TX; Cristina DeBlanc (Alex) of Magnolia, TX; Teresa Brasier (Kevin) of Conroe, TX; Shawna Willke (Travis) of Katy, TX; Peter Crisman (Paige) of Waller, TX; Rosie Green of Houston, TX; Annie Green, of Houston, TX as well as fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 pm – 8 pm at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home at 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas. 77060 on Monday, June 11, 2018. Rosary Services will be held at 7 pm in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church at 22800 Aldine Westfield Road, Spring Texas 77373

On June 6, 1940, Jessie met Anthony for the first time and he took her dancing. On June 6, 2018, he took her dancing again…this time in heaven, a 78 year love story.
