Jessica Rose Perez

Jessica Rose Perez, 24, of Houston, passed away August 30, 2020. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on June 15, 1996. Jessica attended Oak Ridge High School in Conroe, Texas and graduated from Mayde Creek High School in Houston, Texas. She also attended Lone Star College and the Aveda Institute. Jessica had a passion for skincare, the beauty industry, art, and music. She was a kind, beautiful and charming young lady who could light up a room with a smile. She is deeply loved and will be forever missed.

Jessica is survived by her mother, Leticia Ybarra, father, Martin Perez, stepfather, William Powell, sisters Taylor Powell, and Vanessa Perez, brothers Andrew Powell and Jonathan Copeland, grandparents, Carlos and Julie Ybarra, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jessica’s memory may be made benefitting HAWC, Houston Area Women’s Center, in a gesture of love and support to women working hard put an end to domestic violence through advocacy, counseling, education, shelter and support services.
