He was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 5, 1951.
Jesse George Moreno, Sr. graduated from Houston Community College where he received a diploma in computer science.
He was married to Celia Julia Moreno on April 8,1970.
Jesse George Moreno, Sr. was a United States Army Combat Veteran where he served valiantly during the height of Vietnam War deploying from 1970 to 1971.
Jesse George Moreno Sr had a long career as an entrepreneur for:
- Two BROTHERS GROCERY STORE
- North Main Auto Shop
- Car Detailing Shop
- amongst many other successful entrepreneurial ventures.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where he volunteered running the church’s kitchen and had a passion for Entrepreneurship, always striving to educate and improve himself.
He is survived by his children: 1. Jesse George Moreno Jr, 2. Mary Katherine Avila, 3. Chris Rene Moreno, 4. Elizabeth Ann Pritchett, 5. Jose Leon Moreno Sr.
And his grandchildren:
1. Jesse George Moreno III, 2. Bianca Moreno, 3. Priscilla Moreno, 4. Christian Moreno, 5. Jose Leon Moreno Jr, 6. Elaina A. Pritchett, 7. Julian C. Pritchett, 8. Antonio Moreno, 9. Cristal Moreno, 10. Rene Moreno, 11. Alyssa Avila, 12. Marissa Avila, 13. David Avila Jr and eight (8) great grandchildren.

A visitation for Jesse will be held Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1505 Kane Street, Houston, TX 77007. A committal service will occur Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
