Jeri Baker White

Jeri Baker White, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. Jeri was born on November 8, 1926 in Port Neches, Texas to Frank Oliver and Verna Agnes Nerth Baker. She married the love of her life Hedley Joshua (Jay) White. They were married 59 years. The Lord blessed them with a son, David Gordon and daughter Deborah Starr White. Jeri is preceded in death by her husband, Jay; daughter, Starr; both parents and a sister Daisy Christiansen and brother, Frank. She is survived by her son, David and his wife Gail of Humble, Texas; sister, Pat Vickers of Napa Valley, CA; grandson, Jason White and wife Cathy; granddaughter, Rebekah Ann White and husband Craig Martel and many nieces and nephews. Jeri loved the Lord, her family, her church and friends. Jeri was a loving wife, mother and servant of the Lord. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 1-2 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A Celebration of Jeri’s Life will begin at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. It is requested in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to Willow Meadows Baptist Church in memory of Jeri White.
