Jennifer Wong

Jennifer F. Y. Wong, 60, born May 21, 1962, passed away peacefully in the arms of her husband on October 14, 2022 in Houston, Texas after a short fight with cancer. She was a lovely and multi-talented woman with a kind heart. She aspired to be in fashion from a young age and studied fashion design in Paris. She continued her passion in the US and graduated at the Fashion Institute of Technology (New York City). While in Houston, Jennifer studied together with her husband at the University of Houston, where she received her BBA and MBA.

Jennifer worked at Aramco Services as a System Analyst for her entire career. After work, she was a loving wife and caring mother who also devoted her time to helping others. As a proud member of the Ascension Catholic Church, she spent thousands of hours over the years serving others in her community and congregation (e.g., as a Sunday School Teacher and volunteer in various capacities).

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Eddie T.C. Lam, Ph.D., her beloved son and daughter-in-law Edmond C. Lam and Sarah M. Lam, her mother Chiu Ying Liu, her brothers Shiu Fai Wong, Siu Man Wong, Shiu Hong Wong and beloved sister Fung Sze Wong.

A chapel service for Jennifer will take place at Advantage Funeral Home Chapel, 7010 Chetwood, Houston, TX 77081, Thursday, October 20, at 11:30 am.

A graveside service for Jennifer will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 2:30 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
