I'm so very sad to learn of Jeff's passing.  My husband and I were customers at RMS for several years and Jeff was the reason we always went back.  We could tell that he was a person of integrity and greeted everyone with a warm smile.  I think of him every time I drive by RMS.

No words can remove grief, but I hope they can help ease it. We're so sorry for your loss, Sharla and family. We hold you for safekeeping in our prayers.

Jeff was a wonderful person-a truly great man who will be greatly missed by all. My prayers are with his family.

We are so very sorry for your loss!  We do understand your pain.  But we know, also, that the Lord and His angels are rejoicing to have Jeffrey home. I never me Jeff, but he helped me over the phone.  He was referred to me by one of his customers.  He did not know me from Adam, still helped me though I never spent a dime in the shop.  Prayers up to all involved.  You have lost a good one.

Our condolences to the Stott family, Byron, and everyone at the shop...    Although my wife and I moved to Chicago a couple of years ago with the CAL/UAL merger, I continue to refer friends and family to RMS primarily because of the way Jeff treated me on my very first visit to the shop.  Surely he will be greatly missed by many!

Jeff will be missed. He was a great guy to work with and it will not be the same without him.  Go in peace, my friend. May God bless your family in this time of sorrow.

I feel like our families have known eachother forever, and have grown our kids together as one. I have so many memories of sharing events and milestones together. We will miss Jeffrey greatly, and pray for God's comfort and peace for you and the kids Sharla. We love you all.

Sharla,  We are so sorry for your loss  and are praying for you and your family.  I have not met you but have heard wonderful things about your precious family from our son, Morgan Whitfield and daughter-in-law Amy. It is so shocking. I just spoke with Jeff earlier this month. He was so helpful and gracious when I mistakenly called his personal cellphone on a Saturday afternoon, as my car had broken down. He was always kind and helpful, and gave beneficial advice and recommendations.

I met Jeff at RMS through my cousin (Derick Bradley). Jeff always greeted me with a smile and always had something positive to say. I pray that the Stott family has the strength and courage to get through these trying times. Psalms 46 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

So sorry for your loss ....Jeff was one of the last really good, good guys . He will be deeply missed.

While I did not know Jeffrey very well, every time I was ever around him he was kind and smiling, and it was clear how much he truly loved his family!  There aren't many husbands that would jump at the chance to attend their niece's friends' weddings and showers but Jeffrey was at every one... and with a smile! He loved being with his family that much.  

I know he will forever be missed by so many and while the pain of his sudden passing is unimaginable, it will never be able to outweigh the love he left behind. And really, he will never be truly gone... there is evidence of Jeffrey in the faces of his four beautiful children and in the love he left shining in his wife's eyes. His was far too short, but it was a life well lived. He loved and was so loved and I hope we are all blessed enough to be able to say that at the end of our time here.

Sharla and Stott kiddos - I love you all and will be praying for you constantly during this time of loss.

Oh, this news is so sad for all the Nugent family and Teresa Gonzalez! Our hearts go out to all who know Jeff so much better than we do and will miss him so much... Jeff was a wonderful friend to have through so many years (and so many cars,) and we will remember him often.  He was so very proud of his family; he loved you all very much and talked about you all the time.  He loved his home and the horses--all of it.  He always seemed like a man who knew to count his blessings.  God bless all of you who will miss him so much: his wife and children and family, and his RMS family, and all his friends.

I knew Jeff through RMS.  He never failed to remember my name and always had a smile and something nice to say.  I felt I could trust him and his advice.  RMS won't be the same.  What a loss, especially for his wife and children.  It's clear from the pictures that they were a very close and loving family.  May the memory of Jeff be their treasure forever.  My heart goes out to you all.

I had the privilege of meeting Jeff (and little Luke) once to do some work for me.  He was a very nice man and I chose him to do the work because of his honesty and willingness to go the extra mile.  My condolences to his family and friends.

I remember many years ago, bringing in one of my many cars and meeting Jeff "The New Guy" his first week at RMS. He had a unique, easy-going yet professional style, combined with an encyclopedic knowledge of his cars and always remembered to ask about my wife and daughter. Anytime I needed advice I knew Jeff was just a quick call away. My deepest sympathy to his family and coworkers.

Jeffrey was an outstanding young man that you could trust and get to know easily.  I am very sorry to hear that he is gone and he will be missed by so many people he helped.  God's blessings to his family always.

I'm shocked and deeply saddened to hear the news of Jeff's passing. His pleasant demeanor, commitment to follow through, and consistent customer service were the reasons I was a customer at RMS. Every time my car was in service (which was a lot this year), he stayed in constant communication with me via text and phone calls, even after hours. He always wanted to do the right thing by his customers, with diplomacy. I was always impressed with how he handled difficult situations with candor and grace. So I can only imagine how much he was loved and respected outside his work environment.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his co-workers, family and friends. I am sure he will be greatly missed and even more greatly remembered in hearts forever.
