With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Jeannette Avila Luna—a devoted mother, sister, and friend whose compassion touched all who knew her. Jeannette left this world surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering care.
She leaves behind two daughters who were the light of her life, along with four devoted brothers and a cherished little sister. Jeannette’s love extended far beyond her family—she was a mother to many, always ready with an open heart, a warm meal, or a comforting word. Her home was a place of peace, laughter, and belonging for all.
Jeannette had a rare gift for making others feel truly seen and loved. She led with quiet strength and endless generosity, teaching those around her the true meaning of compassion. Though her absence is deeply felt, the love she gave will live on in all of us.
Rest peacefully, sweet Jeannette. You were, and always will be, everyone’s mom. ❤️

A rosary will occur Friday, April 25, 2025 at 7:00 PM, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A chapel service will occur Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel - Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, TX 77003. A committal service will occur Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Historic Hollywood Cemetery, 3506 N Main St, Houston, TX 77009.
