Jeanette Sutton Williams was born on October 10, 1939 to Robert and Ethel Sutton of Houston Texas. The story goes Ethel went to Galveston for a relaxing time where little Miss Jeanette decided to make her appearance before Ethel made her way back to Houston. Jeanette did her high school studies at Booker T. High School and went on to receive a degree in upholstery from Houston Community College. Jeanette was baptized at Belavista at an early age and later joined Graceway Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Herman L. Pickens. In 2006 Graceway merged with Pilgrim Branch Missionary Church where she attended until she no longer could attend due to health concerns. Jeanette assumed various professional initiatives to include creating beautiful pieces from her upholstery talent to being a proprietor of her own business. Jeanette was a loving and humble sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was the biological mother to one but a mother to a host of many. A person never went hungry or without if she was aware of the situation. Preceding her in death are her parents, Robert and Ethel, husband Roy L. Williams and her two sisters Betty Jewel Sutton and Barbara Paramore. Jeanette leaves to cherish her memory daughter Joann Sutton, sisters Esther Loudd (Hulon) and Juanita Sutton; Joann's siblings, Norris Thompson, Arlis Maura (Robert), Sabrina Thompson (deceased), De 'Andria Briscoe of Houston Texas and April Williams Funkhouser of San Francisco California; Grandchildren Cory, Kayada, Kachina, Reginald, Tori and Robert.
