She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dean Noland in 2007, after 22 years of marriage; her brothers, Ron Crabbe, Roger Crabbe and Rand Adams. She is survived by her children: Mary Michelle Tilton, Angella Dawn Bell and Nancy Bernadette Noland; her grandchildren: Christopher Wayne Dillard, Whitney Kaye Smith, Bill Cade Dillard, Douglas William Heiser, Veronica Adina Fleur Noland-Carr, & James Dean Noland Bell; her Godchildren: Oscar & Julio Canas, & Jessica Sanchez, Antonea Eason, Ian Elfman; her brothers: Ray Crabbe, Michael Crabbe, John Wilson; her sisters: Donna Burquest, Lucy Rau, Lou Lou Gallegos; stepmother: Juliana Rodriguez.
Renee was a woman of deep prayer with a daily devotion to the Rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. She went to Adoration every Wednesday & Friday and was a daily communicant until her health prevented regular attendance.
She was involved in many ministries in the church including Eucharistic Minister at Mass and to the Sick & Homebound, a Catholic Daughter, Altar Committee, involved in Meals Ministry and cooked for Fr. Kevin Thissen for 9 years and took care of him during his illness & till his death in 2005. She cooked for the Basilian Fathers at Christmas.
Renee was compassionate, generous, loving woman with a big heart and lots of friends. She was always ready to help out whenever there was a need.
The greatest miracle of Renee’s life was when her husband Dean joined the church and became Catholic. She was deeply devoted to her family & grandchildren. Renee lived her life with prayer, deep faith and an attitude of thanksgiving in all things. Her favorite saying was “God’s in Charge”.
The visitation is to be from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm Sunday, August 24, 2014, in the chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, where the recitation of the Holy Rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy is to said at 5:00 pm.
The Mass of Christian Burial is to be celebrated at 9:00 am on Monday, August 25, 2014, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 12627 West Bellfort Avenue in Sugar Land, where Rev. Santy Kurian, M.S.F.S. is to serve as the celebrant and Rev. Joseph K. Kalladan is to con-celebrate.
The entombment is to follow in the Memorial Mission Mausoleum at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road.
