Jay Boyd Sills

Jay served our country in the US Navy and retired from the HPD after twenty-three years of service. After his retirement from HPD, he continued with the US Secret Service as a dispatcher and retired after fourteen years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jay B. & Kathryn Sills, and a sister Elsie Carolyn Bell. Survived by; Danette, his loving and devoted wife of 48 years; his much loved son, Jay B. Sills and his wife, Danielle; grandchildren, Travis - "T-Man", and Rachel, lovingly known as PePaw to them. He also leaves a sister, Barbara Nicholes and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Friday, May 23, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Graveside Services and Interment; 10:30 AM, Sat, May 24, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery
