Jason Bernard Richardson, a beloved son, brother, father and husband was born in Houston, Texas on December 23, 1974. Jason attended public school graduating from Forest Brook High School of North Forest ISD in 1993. Growing up, Jason enjoyed sports and played football during high school years.
Jason was baptized under the leadership of Pastor Maurice Graves at a young age. He later studied and found comfort in the teachings of the twelve Tribes of Israel from the bible. Anyone who spoke with Jason for any length of time knew he loved the Lord for he always had a scripture of reference for every situation and challenge in life. His smile and positivity would light up a room. Family was the most important thing to him and he made sure that everyone knew it.
Jason was employed with Union Pacific Railroad for 19 years where he built strong friendships. In his free time he loved watching sports with his wife and boys, bowling, and playing video games, as well as playing dominoes with his grandfather and friends.
Jason met and fell in love with Connie at her place of employment in 2005, later marrying in April 2006.
Jason made his transition to his eternal rest on Friday, August 21, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Allen Sr. and Anna Rose Richardson, maternal grandparent Lillian Jackson, and one aunt Jewel Jackson. He leaves a legacy of love to his wife, Connie Richardson and his four children, Deneicia, Alexander, Ja’Sha and Jeremiah, his father and stepmother Dwight and Johnnie Richardson, his mother Winell Richardson, mother-in-law Ida Howard, and father-in-law Ronnie Howard, one brother Dwight Jerrod Richardson, a brother and sister-in-law Russell and Demetrice Hubbard, grandfather Claiborne Jackson Sr, six aunts, two uncles, two nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
Jason may be absent from the body, but he will always be present in our hearts. Well done God’s good and faithful servant.
