Janie M. Reyna

Janie M. Reyna, 91, of Houston, Texas, entered into rest on January 29, 2019. She was born in Fulshear, Texas on January 23, 1928 to parents Juan and Martina Martinez. She was married to Enrique R. Reyna on August 19, 1962. Janie was a proud homemaker and she dedicated her life to caring for her greatest passion: her family. No force in the world can compare to a mother's love, and Janie made sure that her husband and daughters could always feel every ounce of that devotion and adoration, and know just how much they meant to her.

She is survived by her husband Enrique; darling daughters Jane Hiotis, Sylvia Naftchi, Gloria R. Osuna, Veronica R. Edwards; grandchildren Emmanuel Hiotis, Gina Zoe Hiotis, Eric Ortiz, Nina M. Broumand, Kyan N. Broumand, Samuel Naftchi, Matthew Naftchi, Charles E. Edwards, III (Trey) ; sisters Josephine Melchor and Louise Flores. She was preceded in death by her siblings Pilar, Margarita, Domingo, Maria, and Angelina.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Monday, February 4, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. inside the Chapel of American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038. The Celebration of Life service will commence on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 10:15 a.m. inside the Chapel of American Heritage Funeral Home, after she will be escorted to the Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038, where she will be laid to rest.
