Janie R. Perez

She was a lifelong Houstonian and parishioner at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Janie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who placed her family above herself. She gathered family, friends, and those in need into her home and lovingly cared for them as her own. She gave more than she received and left us with more than expected, especially unconditional love.

She is welcomed into heaven by her late husband, Albert, and son, Albert Jr. Janie leaves behind two daughters; Sandra P. Wiles and Jo Ann P. Malague and husband, Paul; son, Joseph Ramirez and grandchildren; Alan “Chuck” Wiles, Hector Figueroa, Amber Malague, Jade Malague, and Ryan Perez.

Janie will be missed and remembered by all who loved her.

A visitation for Janie will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023, followed by a religious ceremony from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Private Committal Services will be held for the immediate family.
