Janie A Hernandez, age 91, of Houston, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

Janie is survived by her son Cruz Fonseca; her daughter Betty Rojas; her daughter Janie Espinoza; her daughter Chenchy Mireles; her son Joe Hernandez,Jr.; her son-in-law Frank Espinoza; her son-in-law Mike Mireles; and her daughter-in-law Vanessa Hernandez; her grandchildren 17, her great grandchildren 47 and her great-great grandchildren 11.

Janie was preceded in death by her husband Joe S. Hernandez; her daughter Luisa Veliz, her daughter Gloria Torres and her son Steven Fonseca.

A visitation for Janie will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A rosary will occur Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM. A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 4015 Sherman St, Houston, TX 77003. A burial will occur Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
