Janice Taylor went Home to be with the Lord on February 20, 2019. She was born in Prescott Arkansas on July 27, 1952 and graduated from Sam Houston High School. Janice most recently resided in Conroe Texas, but has also lived in Delight Arkansas, Jacksonville Arkansas, and most of her life in Houston Texas. Anyone who knew her, knows that she did not meet a single stranger in any place she went or resided. She was always ready to chat. She loved cats, loved to cook, bake, crochet and most importantly to gossip. Nothing made her happier than hearing or telling a juicy story.
Janice shared 45 years of marriage with her husband Larry Taylor and he will miss her immensely. She is survived first and foremost by her precious cat baby Gizmo. She is survived by her parents Dwight and Dorothy Moody, her sisters Mary, Geraldine, Wanda and Linda and by her daughters LaCressia Machicek and Carol Keuthan. She is also survived by LaCressia's significant other Jimmie Kelley and son-in law Jim Keuthan. She was preceded in death by her daughter Heather Wells and son-in-law Pete Wells. She is survived by her grandchildren: Kari and Travis Hickman , Sean Russom II, Lacey and Mark Crews, Ginger and Aaron Smith, Courtney and significant other Luis, Hunter Keuthan (and Andrew), Kimberly Keuthan, Danielle Keuthan, Zack and Whitney Kelley, Jimmie and Sarah Kelley, Kyle Kelley and Davietta. She was preceded in death by her grandson Dustin. She is survived by her great-grandchildren Hayzel, Kade, Adrian, Maci, Hayven, Ayana, Avery and Ashton. She also leaves behind many much loved brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, family and friends.
Janice loved her Riverpark Dialysis family and we will be eternally grateful for the love and care they gave her since she moved here. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that a small donation be made to the American Kidney Fund in her name so they can continue to help others in the way they helped her so much.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 1:00 February 25th at American Heritage Funeral Home. 10710 Veterans Memorial, Houston, Texas 77038. A reception will follow at Parkwood Baptist Church, 5210 Aldine Bender, Houston, Texas 77032.
