Janice Marie Bolton Powell

Janice graduated from Rabouin Senior High School then continued her education at Southern University of New Orleans then went onto Remington College were she received her diploma in Medical Coding and Billing. She was employed at Healix were she was passionate about her work and her Healix family.

She was a loving and caring person. Her love for her family and friends was undeniable. Her outgoing personality and giving spirit touched so many lives and will be with us forever.

Janice departed to eternal rest on July 9, 2011. She was preceded in death by her sister, Gail Searcy and her nephew, Juan Bolton. She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving mother, Geraldine, husband, Cleveland Powell III. Four Sons: Levar Johnigan, Lamar Johnigan, Cleveland Powell IV and Malik Powell, Brothers: Frederick, Ronald, Gary, Tony, Darren and Michael. Sisters: Vanessa and Pamela and her devoted Friends Alice M. Hollomon, Sharon and the late Shay. Her four grandkids and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
