Janice Duplessis, passed away at home on Monday, March 19, 2018 of Cancer at the age of 67. Janice was born in New Orleans, LA and lived in Houston for many years. She was very well involved in the community, working alongside with M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, American Society, and an advocate speaker for Breast Cancer Awareness. Janice created the Sugar Land Fire Department 2004 Calendar raising over $7,000 dollars for the American Cancer Society, to help extinguish breast cancer. She is survived by her loving husband, Rogers Duplessis of 29 years, three sons, Aristede Johnson, Shawn Johnson, Christopher Duplessis and wife Mandy, father; Phillip Johnson, mother; Elizabeth Stewart, brothers; Keith and Brandon Stewart, Ronnie Johnson; deceased brother, Atanley Johnson; deceased brother, Patricia Johnson; deceased sister, two sisters; Lynell Wilson, Elaine Scott and husband Willie Scott, seven grandchildren; Danisha, Darius, Devonte, Dario, Xavier, Jada, and Jalessa Small, and a host of nieces and nephews. Janice will be greatly missed and now is in the presence of the Lord.
