Janice D. Amerson

Janice Darline Marburger Amerson, 71, of Houston, Texas passed away and went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 27, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents, and son, Gregory Wayne Amerson. She is survived by her two daughters: Pamela Johnson and Donna Barker, who she loved dearly with all her heart, 7 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. Janice loved her church family of Joy Lutheran church. She was known as the “Donut Queen”. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will always be remembered, loved, and missed. The family will receive friends Friday, June 1st, 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday 11:00 AM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, Rev. John Raddatz officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
