Janet was preceded in death by both parents. Janet was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother and she will be missed by everyone that knew her, especially her family. Janet is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Merle Price; children, Deborah Simmons and husband Dana and Laura Ransom and husband Mundy; grandchildren, Christopher Simmons, Reese Ransom and Reagan Ransom; along with numerous other loving family members and friends.
The family wishes to give special thanks to the entire staff of Vitas Hospice, especially RN.’s Tina and Shirley.
Visitation will begin on Thursday, January 20, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale, Houston, TX 77023. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, January 21, 2011, in the Family Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
