She met William in Houston, Texas and they were Married on August 2, 2001. Janet worked for Barcelona Sports for 42 years. She had a passion for traveling, shopping, decorating and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mutt and Wanda Colquitt; two sons, Keith Monroe Josey and William Dennis Johnson Jr.
She is survived by her husband, William Johnson Sr.; children, Gary and wife Tammy Josey, Jason Josey, Charlotte and husband Greg Mullins, Jennifer and Husband Wesley Hanks, Stacy and Husband Michael Troyer; sisters, Judy and husband Shannon Sauer, Gail and husband Calvin Ryder; a very special uncle, Jerry; aunt, Renee Allan; a very special niece, Jamie Walker; along with her 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and many loved nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, December 6, 2024 from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Services at 10am in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway Houston, TX 77039. Followed by burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
