Jane D McGee

Jane DeHaven McGee born June 27, 1937, passed away early Saturday morning in the company of her two remaining children. She was preceded in death by her parents Dwight and Isla DeHaven, Brothers Robert and William, husband Walter McGee and son Walter McGee.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy Tichenor and her husband Terry, son Brian McGee and his wife Kirstin, grandchildren Kimberly, Travis, Laura and Quinton McGee, Sam, Sarah and Emily McGee, and great grandchildren Haylie, Evan, Mason, William and Oliver.

Jane was born in Tulsa, OK and as an infant moved to Houston where she attended Lamar High School and the University of Houston. She worked for Gulf Coast Investments before marrying her high school sweetheart and raising her family.

Her interests were many and she never met a stranger. She enjoyed gardening, Bridge, reading and rooting for the local sports teams.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 17th from 5-8 pm, with a funeral service on Wednesday October 18th at 2:00 pm at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral home with burial to follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
