My condolences to the family. My father was from Denver Harbor by the Houston Ship Channel at 533 Shotwell St. Billy Moser. I think I have a photo of Linda at a birthday party at the baby boys birthday. 
No matter where my dad Billy ate Chinese food he would recall the name Sister Ding How, spoken with much love and respect.

Aunt Jane lived a wonderful life, raised 2 amazing children, grandchildren and a beautiful great grand daughter. Smart, warm, funny, straight talking:-), composed, lovely -a most gracious person and delightful to be around.  

I will always remember her as Mrs. Gee. I first met her in 1964(?) at Albert Gee's Poly-Asian where I got a job as a young 20 year old waiter. Most memorable to me is of a time I should have been fired for something, but instead of a scolding or getting sacked she took me aside and surprisingly gave me motherly advice. She was like that! Never will I forget her kindness and that's how I will always remember her. Rest in peace, Mrs Gee.

Knowing Linda’s and Janita’s Mom, Mrs. Gee, while my brother, Richy, sister, Tammy and I were growing up in Texas brings back fond memories of all the ways she encouraged us positively. In the 50’s, when our family moved to the south, Mrs. Gee, convinced mom & dad to purchase a home near hers, where there would then be a total of two Chinese families in the Bellaire neighborhood. We kids were always proud to be residents of Bellaire, which certainly shaped our lives through adulthood, setting the bar in selecting our out of state homes to date.
Mrs. Gee, made introductions to CUC and C.A.C.A. organizations, resulting in frequent home parties, getting to know so many others just like us; and of course the unforgettable and fabulous Miss Chinatown events under her superior direction were tops, in meeting so very many folks socially.
Rice University was just another encouragement Mrs. Gee felt strongly about, in growing ones education, and we took her lead.
Our mom & dad, June & Richard Leong, continually let us know how Jane and Albert represented the strong foundation within the positive growth of our Houston Chinese Community. We’ve stood so proudly on their shoulders for all the ways she and Albert had forged the way for us.
Thank you, Mrs. Gee, for the wonderful life you’ve shared with the Leong family. You are unforgettable.

I thought of Ms Gee as a grandmother,she loved telling me the stories of her childhood and I enjoyed her smile.She always ended her visit with"I love you", and I never met someone that could eat a cheeseburger everyday. I will miss you.

I have such fond memories of Jane. Mostly as wonderful friends to my parents, Richard and June Dove Leong. Jane was my mom’s go-to for anything and everything that was going on in the Chinese community in Houston and I know they enjoyed leading and serving together. Since I was the baby of my family, I was often taken to social events as my parents’ third wheel. Jane always spoke directly to me and never made me feel like an unwanted guest. My heart is happy that she and Albert are with my parents, celebrating and enjoying being together and in the presence of our Lord. Love and prayers to the Gee family. 

I will always remember the parties at your mom’s house in our teens and the chair of the Miss Chinatown Houston Pageant at the beginning. We will miss her and remember her advice and her guidance. Ron-and Beth❤️
