Jane Gwathmey Frost

Jane is survived by her children Julia Frost Smith, Kathryn Frost, James Browne Frost and his wife Angela; grandchildren, Andrew Scott Klein, Jared Robert Klein, Hunter Browne Frost, and Lauren Nicole Frost.

She was a 1947 graduate of the Kinkaid School.

Jane enjoyed a long full life which included many summers in Port Aransas. She began fishing in Port Aransas with her father as early as the 1930's and eventually introduced the island to her children whom all enjoy the island to this day.

Jane also supported many charities including St. Jude and Smile Train. She was especially fond of The Houston Zoo, and loved taking her grand children there to share her love of wildlife.

Jane had a wonderful sense of humor and was very generous to many. She will be missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of her life will be held Saturday November 18th from 2-4 pm at The Hallmark Senior Living, 4718 Hallmark Dr. Houston, TX. 77056.,( 713) 663-3810.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Houston Zoo, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, or St. Jude.
