We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother, Jamie Ann Gallegos. She was born in Houston, TX on March 20, 1978 and took her final breath surrounded by her loved ones on June 29, 2023.
Jamie is survived by her mother, Angelina Navarro; step-father, Felipe Navarro; father, Ricardo Hernandez; step-mother, Maria Guadalupe Hernandez; sister, Erica Hernandez-Scott and her husband Chris; daughter Serina Corpus; son, Pete Corpus II and his wife Amber; grandchildren, Pete Corpus III and Noel Rodriguez; and nephews/Godchildren, Christian Scott and Andrew James Escamilla, Jr. She is also survived by her uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Jamie will be remembered for always having a beautiful smile that lit up a room. She had the personality and natural charisma to make friends, no matter the situation. She enjoyed watching the Houston Astros (especially Jeremy Peña) and professional boxing. Jamie was a kind and creative soul who always amazed us with her decorating and crafting skills.
At Jamie’s request, a private celebration of her life will be held with family members and close friends present.
