James “Jim” Sanders, age 72, passed away December 4, 2014. Born in Oklahoma, he was raised in Houston, graduating from Reagan High School. He was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Shirley A. Sanders; parents, Arthur L. and Johnnie Sanders; sisters, Virginia Sanders and Ruby Eads. Survived by children, Catherine Bindeman and husband Buck, Debora Atkinson and husband David, Mark Sanders and wife Beth, and Julie Price and husband David; grandchildren, Matthew Worsham, Joshua Worsham, Trevor Atkinson, Laura Judge, Kirstie Corbett, Scott Corbett, Jacob Price, and Hunter Price; great grandchildren, Allison Atkinson, Christopher Judge, Connor Corbett, and Neala Worsham; sisters, Mary Thomas and Shirley Kuehnle and husband Fred; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 2:30 p.m., Monday, December 8, 2014 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery
