James Payne

James was self-employed and had a passion for fishing and drag racing with his 69 camaro.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vicki Cunningham Payne; paternal grandparents, Billie Francis & Edward Glen Payne; maternal grandparents, Sue & James Johnson; uncle, Larry Payne and aunt, Sandra Olsen Racicot.

James is survived by his father, Edward G. Payne, Jr.; sister, Tina Cunningham; brother, Travis Miller; uncles, Randolf Payne (Deborah), Rocky Johnson (Laura Miller), Ricky Johnson (Karen); aunts, Cynthia Smith (Terry), Katherine Phillips; cousins, Mark Payne, Tamara Beshears, Rocky Johnson II, Destiny Johnson, Karli Johnson, Gayle Payne, Jessica Acreman, Sheena Acreman, Amy Phillips, Eric Acreman, Melissa Phillips, Monica Phillips, Mandie Phillips and Wesley Phillips.

Serving as Pallbearers, Rocky Johnson II, Josh Aimone, Brian Bunyard, Ethan Acreman, Kelsey Griffis, and Austin Griffis.

A graveside service for James will be held Friday, September 22, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
