It was with sadness to learn of Michael’s passing. I met him when I started my 15yr career journey after college at DMSI in the early 90’s. Michael was always professional with a debonair image across the company. I remember teasing him asking him if he had on contacts because his eyes were so brilliantly blue. 😂. He would just laugh at my jokes. His knowledge and patience with our clients is what made working with him that much easier. Based on the photos I can see that he finally was able to live the lifestyle that he worked so hard to obtain. I’m sure he will be dearly missed and I send prayers to everyone during their time of need. I’m sure he’s smiling down upon us with them brilliantly blue eyes. GOD Bless..🙏🏾💜🌹

Me and Michaels last game of golf together, I will never forgot the putt you sinked on 18 to go ahead 1 stroke! Regardless of the score it was always a good time to be around Michael he knew just about anything from fishing to golf & more, he could always hold a good conversation as well! it was great getting to know you like family mike, until again. Rest in heavenly peace ❤️

I was so sorry to hear of Michael's passing!  I had the opportunity to meet him in the summer of 2000 and worked together for several years.  He was always the ultimate professional and all around really nice guy!!!  We'd recently connected again and shared updates and current activities in life.  I was so happy he'd found someone who truly made him happy.  I'm so sorry for all of his friends and family at the loss of such a good man.

Music has always been a big part of our vacations at Pearl Lakes.  One year, Mike was talking about how he’d learned to play spoons while growing up in Arkansas.  Egged on by the other guys, he gave us a quick demonstration! 

We’re still trying to wrap our minds around the suddenness of Mike’s passing.  He was a vital member of our circle of friends, and no wonder.  Mike was smart, always upbeat, and ready to laugh.  His kindness and generosity knew no bounds.  We will always treasure the vacations we took together, along with the holidays and dinners and other special occasions that we shared.  Katherine, please know that we are here to help you in this difficult time. 

How does a mother sum up a lifetime of memories. Michael was always a happy baby and a curious child. He walked at 8 months and talked at a early age and was taking a Big Ben clock apart by grade school to see what made it tick and took his Dad’s new lawn mower apart while in high school and got it back in working order. I could write a book about the things he and his brother got in to. Anything Michael attempted he seemed to excel in. I can hear his smooth voice in my head now as he would attempt to help me with technical problems with my iPad or phone. No mother expects to out live her children, yet I have and the pain is so raw. The lifetime of memories I have will warm my heart for my remaining days on this earth. Katherine I grieve with you and will help you any way I possibly can.

It’s still so hard for my heart to believe you are gone.  Sixty two is too young! I will miss hearing your voice, your laughter, your teasing and your jokes. I admired your adventures and trips all over the world. You lived your life to its fullest to the very end.  I love you, big brother. I will miss you always. 

Michael was a class act- a gentleman, a kind listener, a true professional. He handled challenges with grace and wisdom. I was always happy to have an opportunity to connect with him and so honored to consider him a friend. We will miss him and never quite understand how we could lose him so suddenly, so young. My sincere condolences to Michael's wife, family and friends.

I am saddened to learn about Michael’s passing.  I first met Michael when I joined DMSI out of college.  Over the years we worked on many clients together and he taught me a great deal about the industry.  I will look back fondly on the many client trips we took and will miss catching up with him over a sushi lunch.  Rest in peace. 

It's honestly still hard to believe Uncle Mike has passed. Since I was a kid I've admired Mike in how he conducted himself. His quick wit and ability to make those around him laugh. 
Michael was passionate with everything he did, especially fishing. He lived an incredible life and always did as he wanted. Traveling all around the world to find the best fishing spot! He may have passed too young, but lived the life of 2 or 3 lifetimes. 
I will miss our visits, laughs and great conversation. But will always cherish the ones we had. You were a great man and will be missed by many. 
Katherine, our hearts break for you and with you. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. Much love!

Hiking in Colorado:  Katherine, Michael, and Thom, one of his road Dogs.  Thom always talked about how easy it was to travel long distances and long hours with Michael.    Thom was with Michael on the road back from Colorado when he died.  Thom would say many great things about him, but mostly that Michael was one of the good ones.  We will miss him.  

I am shocked and saddened by the news of Michael's passing. As a young kid out of college starting my first job Michael took me under his wing and taught me how to build relationships.  Michael was always kind and personable to everyone he met    Over the years we became friends often meeting before sunrise to fish.  Michael was the kind of friend you could go months without talking to and just naturally pick up a conversation when your paths crossed again.  You will be missed.

As brothers  we had a lot of good times and bad as brothers do. We were only two years apart which made us able to understand and grow a bond that brothers have. I will miss our potential adventures, our frequent discussions and just seeing what life brings us to share. 
Katherine  please  know  that JoAnn and I send our most heartfelt condolences  and that  the memories you shared with Michael will  carry you through these difficult times.
