James was in the United States Marine Corps and completed three tours of duty in the Vietnam War. Upon his return to the United States, he attended school and became a certified heavy equipment operator.
James is survived by his 2 children; daughter, Jessica Jolly (Sally) and son, Travis. He is also survived by his sisters; Wendy Wilkerson, and Laurie Stoll (Don); Nieces, Nikki Vargo (Travis) and Katie Stoll; Aunt, Valerie Jolly, as well as his cousins and friends.
A graveside service for James will be held on Monday, August 16, 2010, at 11:00AM at Fields Store Cemetery, located in Waller County Texas.
Directions are as follows:
Take Hwy 290 West to FM 362 and turn North.
Continue to T intersection FM1488/FM362.
Turn Right. Continue and you will pass Field Store Elementary on the left.
Approx ½ mile down from elementary school is intersection of FM 362 N; Turn Left.
Look for cemetery sign and turn Right on the small country road.
Look for New Hope United Methodist Church.
