Jim was born to Cecil Scott and Glenna Oschman Johnson on November 19, 1949 in Mount Vernon, Indiana.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Janice Lemley Johnson.
He graduated from Mount Vernon High School and attended Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky.
He was also survived by a son, Christopher Allen Johnson and two grandsons, Spencer Allen Johnson and Carter Paul Johnson. He is also survived by his brother, Michael S. Johnson of Mount Vernon, Indiana.
A Celebration of His Life will be held at a later date.
