Jimmy was born in Houston, Texas on April 12, 1969 to James and Barbara Holland. He spent a majority of his childhood here and graduated from Stratford High School in 1987. He went on to receive a Public Relations degree at the University of Texas Arlington.
He began his career in finance and worked for many years with Fidelity Investments in Dallas, TX. In 2008, he moved back to Houston to be with family helping care for his father. After his father’s death, he held several jobs before moving to Austin, TX.
Jimmy loved his family whether it be spending time at the beaches in Hawaii, Santa Monica, or Galveston. He was a proud son, brother, cousin, uncle, and was an amazing listener who would be there for anyone. Jimmy also had a passion for travel, mustang cars, sports, and a true love for animals.
He is preceded in death by his father James Cleveland Holland.
Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Barbara Jean Holland Bell, her husband A. Graham Bell, his brother, Jason Craig, his wife Belinda, and son Jackson Crawford Holland.
Other close relatives include his aunt Patsy and uncle Carl Coleman, cousins Lisa and Robert Ricks, their daughter Lizzy, Charles E. and Mary Hopkins, Crysti and Keith Varden, and many other nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
A Visitation will begin for James on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077, a Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 7, 2022 at 10:00a.m. followed by a Committal Service at Pitman Cemetery, Muldoon, Fayette, Texas.
