James Michael “Mike” Gleason passed away on October 16, 2012 in Houston Texas at the age Sixty- nine. “Mike” was born on September 3, 1943 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He attended John Carroll grade School and graduated from McGuinness High School in 1961 in Oklahoma City. He furthered his education and studied at the Untied Electronics Labs in Louisville, Kentucky, attended OU and attended Harris County Community and San Jacinto Community Colleges. “Mike” also enlisted in the Air Force. He worked for AT&T as a global Service Manager for forty-two years. He was a lifetime member of the Houston Rodeo Association and lifetime member of Telephone Pioneers. His hobbies and Interest included fishing, hunting, and working on the wounded warrior project. James Michael Gleason is preceded in death by his parents, John Joseph and Mary Agnes Gleason; brothers Patrick and Tom and sister- in – law, Karen Gleason, and a brother-in- law, Jack Orr. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty three years H. Darlene Gleason, Dawn Tannehill and Husband, Dwight of Hulbert Ok; sons Jeff Gleason and Wife, Trista of Cypress, Tx, Jake Gleason and Wife, Michelle of Buda, Tx , and Bobby Baker and wife, Jessica of Bellville, Tx ; grandchildren Alison, Emily , Tori, Keaton, and Kaylee Gleason, Gus and Carson Baker, Shane Tannehill; and 2 Step-granddaughters, Leslie Tannehill Broaderick, and Heather Tannehill Cordova, 5 step-great grandchildren and sisters, Mary and Ronnie Atchley, Delores Orr, and Joan Cowden all of Oklahoma City, OK, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends. He will be dearly missed! The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Sheth and Dr. Razzack, and his supportive family and friends.
