James Ayodele Dada passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, January 28,2025 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Medical Center, Houston. He was born on April1, 1970 in Lagos, Nigeria to Simeon Adebisi Dada and Sussana Olufunmilayo Dada.
He graduated from Aladura Comprehensive High School in Anthony Village, Lagos and proceeded to the former Soviet Union to attend Donetsk State University, Ukraine, where he majored in Credit and Finance. He obtained another degree in Human Resources from American Intercontinental University and a master’s degree in health care management from the same institution. He was working on his PhD in Philosophy at the time of his passing.
He ran private businesses and worked in health and education sector; and was a staff member of Fort Bend ISD until his passing. He lived a very kind life, and his attitude to life was “let’s all survive today, tomorrow will take care of itself.”
Dele is survived by his wife Kemi, children, siblings, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends.
A public visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 from 9:00 am. to 10:00 a.m. in the Grand Chapel of Garden Oaks Funeral home located at 13430 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, Texas 77083. The Funeral Service will follow from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
