James Carroll Cowart, born August 25, 1961, entered into eternal rest on February 26, 2015.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Faye Cowart, his father, Berry Lee Cowart, and cousins Evelyn Jones, Claude Jones and Don Jones.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his sister, Billie Katherine Mason, his aunt, Gladys Bear, cousins Nancy Galla, Claudia Jean Jones, Judy Bear Dalton, Ronald Ray Bear, and numerous close friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 beginning at 12 noon at American Heritage Funeral Home. Same day funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Larry Maddox at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery at 2:30 pm where James will receive his final full military honors.
