James is survived by his spouse, Jane Carter; his sons MJ Carter and JM Carter; his father and step-mother, Jim & Jerre Carter; his siblings, Christi Carter (Don Schoenburg), Bernie Glenn (John Glenn), and Tim Carter (Jennifer Carter); numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A visitation for James will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77008. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77008. A committal service will occur Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at Hollywood Cemetery, 3506 N. Main St., Houston, TX 77009.
