James Henry Barnhouse

He fought hard to play the whole game, but when the doctors told him he was headed to overtime, he chose the heavenly path…the one to be with his Savior and his wife. James Henry Barnhouse was born on November 28, 1943 and passed away peacefully on May 7, 2010. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Judy Daricek Barnhouse, his devoted parents: Barney & Amelia Barnhouse, and his wonderful half-sister, Frances Horne. He is survived by his children: Bridgette Stinnett, Tammie Handy & her husband Patrick and Charles Barnhouse & his wife Leslie. He leaves behind his precious grandchildren: Rachel & Joshua Stinnett, Nicholas & Stephanie Barnhouse, and Jadin Handy. He is survived by his best friend and brother, Frank Barnhouse and his family. He was also blessed with numerous other family members and friends. The family will welcome visitors on Monday, May 10th from 6-8PM at Brookside. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 11th at 12:30PM with the interment to follow. He will be dearly missed, but we can be comforted knowing that he’s off injured reserve and now playing on God’s team.
