Jake Michael Boriskie

Jake Michael Boriskie, 19, of Houston, TX went to be with the Lord on May 4, 2012. He was born December 24, 1992. He attended Cy-Falls High School and graduated in 2011. He was a member of the Cy-Falls baseball team, FFA, and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

Jake never met a stranger. He would give you the shirt off his back. You could always find this mischievous kid at the fishing hole or hunting camp with many of his buddies and for sure his truck would always end up in the mud. Jake always had a story to tell and boy were they great "stories".

Jake is survived by his parents, Phil and Kathy Jo Boriskie; siblings, Katie and Matthew Boriskie; paternal grandparents, Evelyn and Lawrence Boriskie of Houston, TX and his maternal grandparents, Dave and Belinda Jacobs of Pasadena, CA. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Bobbie Jacobs Baranowski and his maternal great-grandmother, Victorene Gaines. He also leaves behind his birth mother, Shauna Lawhon; birth siblings, Cameron Raltson, Eddie and Heather Gatti; birth grandparents, Rod and Ginger Stewart of Del Valley, TX and birth great-grandmother, Edna Price of Daisetta, TX and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Honoring Jake as pallbearers will be Austin Dvorachek, Mason Mullen, Don Turley, Will Touchy, Jake Smith, Bodie Robertson, Jake Pope, Bryan Burgess, Cameron Ralston and Colton Conn.

A wake will be held at Forest Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 8,, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 6646 Addicks Satsuma Rd, Houston, TX. A lunch for family and friends will precede the Funeral Mass from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the church. Graveside services will follow the Mass at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The Westview School, 1900 Kersten, Houston TX in honor of Jake's brother, Matthew.
