Jaime Bernal, 97, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014 in Houston, Texas. He was born on February 19, 1917 in Frias Tolima Colombia to Jose Joaquin Bernal and Rosario Ortiz. He is survived by his children, three daughters, Maria N. Dean, Ruth Bernal, Maria Luz Daniel, and son, Juan De La Cruz Bernal. He is also survived by his brother, Ramon Elias Bernal, five grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Advantage Funeral Home, 7010 Chetwood Dr. Houston, Texas 77081. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church , 6921 Chetwood Dr. Houston, Texas 77081. Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
