Jacqueline Denise Johnson, affectionately known as Jackie, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 11, 2015, surrounded by family and friends. Jackie was born in Houston, Texas in the summer of 1962 to Mrs. Rena B. Moore and Mr. Johnny T. Watts, both preceding her in death. Jackie loved God, accepting Christ and being baptized at an early age. Jackie was a loving and devoted mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Jackie graduated from M. B. Smiley High School in 1982. Jackie had a great love for life and family. She loved sharing her birthday with her niece, Tanisha Johnson, often sharing in celebrations of their special day. Jackie enjoyed playing Dominos and cards, and all who played with or against her knew that she was ruler of the domino table. Jackie was an event planner. She eagerly worked on family committees to plan family functions such as reunions and family get-togethers (where she was the ruler of the domino table), and the celebration of her mother's life to show appreciation toward her mother and to continue the legacy of Mrs. Rena B. Moore. Everyone in the family knew that Jackie would be calling to get your t-shirt size and money for the big celebration. Jackie could always be found living in her purpose which was caring for others. Her dedication and commitment to the needs of other people was evident in her work as home health caregiver for many years, and her "unofficial" profession as the family babysitter. To the delight of all of her sisters, brothers, and friends, Jackie always said, "Yeah, bring them over", whenever asked to watch the children in the family. Jackie always greeted every child with a big hug. Each year, Jackie looked forward to hosting her annual Halloween party for the children, where she insisted that each child come to get their cupcake and goodie bag filled with lots of treats. She is survived by her daughter, Jocelyn Johnson, and two sons, Joshua Johnson and Jahson Gibbs; husband, John Gibbs, Jr.; siblings, Jimmy Forte' (Sharon), James Johnson (Marion), Wilbert Johnson (Charlotte), Robert Johnson (Lou), Etta Johnson (William), Lorie Johnson, Rev.
