He was born to parents Maria Rita Aguirre and Jacobo Flores Sr., on March 6, 1950 in Vallermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Jacobo made Houston home where he raised a beautiful family.
He married Herlinda, the love of his life, in 1977, who survives him. Jacobo is also survived by daughters Diana, María and husband Erick. Son, Jacobo Flores Jr. and partner Griselda, as well as a host grandchildren, Marck, Jasmin, Noah, Sofia, Ethan and Abigail. Jacobo was predeceased by brother Ignacio Borrego and Grandson Arturo Alberto Jove. Jacobo was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to everyone.
Jacobo was known for being a social bug. He truly enjoyed having a conversation with everyone he came across. A believer in always helping friends, relatives with whatever they needed. Always there to help his son and daughter with household projects. He loved his Telenovelas and old western movies. You could always find him watching a John Wayne movie. He also loved sports, especially baseball, where of course his favorite team was his hometowns’ team the Houston Astro’s but his true joy came when spending time with his grandchildren.
