Jackie graduated from Grapeland High School. He met Wanda Conley in Houston, Texas and married on July 18, 1959. Jackie owned his own A/C repair business for 40 plus years. He was an all-state football player and had a passion for golf.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jackie Wade Jr.; parents, Leonard and Ruthie Mae Wade.
Jackie is survived by his wife, Wanda Wade; son, Ronnie Wade (wife, Samantha); grandchildren, Kris Wade, Josh Wade, Jessica Johnson (husband, Josh), Rachel Stovall (husband, Zac), and numerous great grandchildren.
A visitation for Jackie will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. A committal service will occur Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Brookside Memorial Park.
