I am so sorry to learn of Jackie's passing.  We were friends at Hamilton Jr. High School in the late 1960's and then at Waltrip Sr. High.  She was friendly and had an unusual sense of humor which I enjoyed.  My condolences to her family.

Mr. Moffitt, I am so sorry for your loss of Jackie.  I went to Waltrip High School with her and also knew her from First Church of God in the Heights.  I remember when Diane passed away, what a shock that was.  I lost touch with most high school friends, but had been getting in touch with many of them in the spring of 2012, in preparation for our 40th high school reunion.  I truly regret not getting in touch with Jackie at that time, how I would have loved to seen her and talked with her again! May God bless you as you walk through such a dark valley.  Please know that so many people loved Jackie, even those who had lost touch...she was a very special person and will be missed...

Jackie was my best friend! I grew to know and love her when I was married to her cousin, Charles Tallent. The family was very close, and my heart will always be with my Uncle Jack. No father should ever have to bury all his children ! My promise to Jackie was to look after her Dad, and that's a promise I will keep. I miss her more as time goes by, because there is no Jackie to answer the phone when I call. We had wonderful fun times,and she earned her place in Heaven!

Mr. Moffitt, I am so sorry for your loss, Jackie was such a sweetheart, she was the one who introduced me to my husband 28 years ago.  Jackie loved life and was always there for others. Mr. Moffitt,
I am so sad about losing Jackie... I am so sorry that I was not able to come and see her. I did speak to her by phone. I lost my Mom a few weeks ago and I am still trying to recover from her loss. Please know that I loved Jackie like she was my own sister. I did not know about her passing, or you know I would have been there.Please have some peace knowing that the family was there waiting for her in heaven. My Mom will also be watching over her for you.Please take care of yourself. Love you.

Jackie and I first became friends at Sinclair Elementary over 50 years ago.  Although we lost touch over time, I was happy to reconnect with her about a year ago via Facebook.  Thankfully, we shared lunch with several other classmates and did our best to close the 40 year gap of our lives after high school.  Jackie was the same funny, beautiful spirit I remembered, and I regretted that we had lost touch years back.  She had experienced so many personal losses and physical pain in her short life but she remained upbeat and positive - just as she had been when we were still at Sinclair. I am so sorry for her passing and send my thoughts and prayers to Mr. Moffit, her nephew, nieces and other family members and those many friends who were family to her.  God bless and keep her in his gentle care.

My prayers to her family at this time of sorrow.  I was blessed to have known and worked with Jackie here at the Greensheet.  She was a great lady in all respects and have missed her being here.

Jackie was my best friend for nearly 20 years. She was my relative for 13 years, and will be a Sister in my heart forever! She lived her life with drive, grace, and most of all, love! I will miss her greatly, but am happy God shared her with me!

Jack, our hearts are so heavy at the passing of beautiful Jackie.  She was a soul on this earth of pure sweetness.  So much like her mother.  Mike and I send you our love.

My sincerest sympathy to Jackie's family.  We lived down the street on Willowby and were school mates for many years.  I know from her posting on Facebook that she had been battling her illness.  I hope you can find comfort in knowing she is at peace.  My prayers are with you at this difficult time.
