Jack Walters loved fishing, traveling around the world and cruises. He had been on 40+ cruises and had the opportunity to travel the world. That’s actually how he met his wife Anna Walters as they had been married for 42 years. Jack was a banker for 40+ years at bank of the south west. He loved watching movies and spending time with his family. Jack would always want to go eat at Willie's Icehouse so he could enjoy a bacon cheeseburger which was an absolute favorite of his. Jack was full of life and personality. There was never a dull moment with him as he would fill the room with light and laughter just by his presence. Always Mr. Charming. 🤍
He is preceded in death by his parents, Milton L. and Bessie E. Walters; brother Milton (Sony) L. Walters.
Jack is survived by his wife, Anna Walters; daughter, Sheri Brooks; son, Steven Smolko; grandchildren, Steven Anthony Smolko, Brian Webb, Zack Smolko, and Lance Smolko; great grandchildren, Brayden Pyne, Kaleb Smolko, Grayson Smolko, Kaylie Kilpatrick, Addison Webb, and Michaela Webb; great great grandchild, Olivia.
A visitation for Jack will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM. A burial will occur Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM Brookside Memorial Park.
