He was the son of Alfons and Fannie Pearl Novak. Jack was married for 68 years to Mae Jean Novak until her death on February 1st, 2022.
Jack is survived by his brother Joe Novack and wife Rynell, along with their children. Also left to cherish his memory are relatives on Mae Jean's side of the family. Jack also has a lot of special friends that he held very near and dear to him.
Jack served in the United States Army where he was stationed in Japan. His love for music was a huge part of who he was. He sang in the Army choir and when he returned home he pursued his music career at Baylor University and then he graduated from University of Houston. His father was a pastor at several churches and jack led the music in churches with his dad. He then went on to teach music and choir in public schools. He taught the south houston area and Sheldon school district which he retired from. Jack was active until a few months with the local Lee College Choir in Baytown where he lived. Jack attended Garth Road Baptist Church and loved the Lord.
Jack and Mae Jean were animal lovers and always had poodle dogs. The dogs were their babies. The dogs traveled with them wherever they went. Jack was always wanting to help people and had a kind and giving spirit.
Jack will be greatly missed by many.
