Jack David Mussett

Jack was born on January 23, 1986 in Midland, Texas, to Dave and Sherry Mussett. He received a Masters degree in architecture from Rice University in 2013.

Jack leaves behind his wife, Susan Mussett (George) and his daughters Margot Baez and Frances Mussett, all of Houston. Jack loved being a husband and father and his wife Susan, Margot and Frances loved and adored him back.

Jack and Susan, had been making plans for the future, and that night of his death, he and his father had been conversing about a motorcycle Jack was interested in purchasing. Jack loved coffee and had just bought Susan and himself a nice new coffee maker. Everything known of our beloved Jack points to a cacophony of circumstances having induced a very low state in the night of his death.

Everyone close to Jack knew him as an uplifting presence. He was cheerful, supportive, considerate, warm, thoughtful, helpful, positive and patient. Among Jack’s many interests, outside of his architecture career, included motorcycling, playing guitar and bass, and he loved dogs.

Jack also leaves behind his parents, Dave and Sherry Mussett of Liberty Hill; his sister, Lisa Nguyen and her husband Nam of Austin; his sister, Danelle Kemp and her husband Galen of Lake Buchannan; parents in law, Godfrey and Zelinda George of Houston; sister in law, Michelle George and her husband John; and six nieces and nephews.

The Memorial Service for Jack will be held on Saturday, January 7th at 2:00 p.m. at Unity Church - Tower of Light, 2929 Unity Dr, Houston, TX 77057.
