I am so sorry to hear of Dr.Corbett's passing. Jack and Jim McCrary were clients of mine in Houston for over 20 years. I moved away 11 years ago to Taylor TX.  I should have stayed in touch with Jack. But life got in the way (very poor excuse). He was one of the nicest and caring person you would ever meet. Our thoughts and prayers are with Diane and his children. I can't express how sorry I am not being there for the service. 

I got up middle of the night missing you. November 2 one of he worse days of my life. I am only comforted knowing you are with our heavenly  Father you loved so much. Love hugs UNO

Jack Corbett was a super good friend.  Lived just down the street from me and was part of my JSHogg grade school running-with crowd.  That crowd included Douglas Hudson, Richard Haywood, Richard Geiger, Henry Brunner.  Bob Stamps and Will Beal plus Julie Ferguson, Aglaia Connie Dixie, Patsy Allen, Jane Watts.  
Jack was always a gentleman, even as a preteen.  Wish we all would have stayed in touch more through the years.  That's life I guess.  And yes he did have those beautiful blue eyes!

Many years ago, we went to high school together.

Yes, I remember Jack.     He was  one I "liked" from afar.... sorta wishing I could date him, but never did.   I remember his blue eyes too and his warm smile and friendship.   So thankful to have this reassurance that he knew the Lord and is in Heaven.   We'll see him again.   Prayers for his loving and grieving family.  He will not be reading any more sad or scary headlines!!!  BTW, I was Evelyn Stevens back then.... now Evvy Ruby.

Jack was an amazing man and one of the kindest people I have had the pleasure of knowing. He always had a smile on his face, and always quick to give a kind, "Hello". 

Jack was one of the first men that I met as a new member to Northgate Country Club and made me feel welcome as a young man at Northgate. Jack was a great ambassador to the game and Northgate, as that was just the kind of person Jack was; a kind, welcoming person that never met a stranger, and never made you feel like one. 

My thoughts are with Diane and the entire Corbett family, and I wish them well through this difficult time.

Jack was one of the first men I met when I joined Northgate CC about 5 years ago. Jack was one of the first guys there to take a liking to me. I started a golf group on Saturday mornings known as the Fore Horsemen. We started with only 10 guys and Jack was one of them. Not only was he great to play with but he gave us credibility. People actually knew who we were and gave us a shot because we knew Jack. He helped us 'find our place in the field' and all of us original Horsemen are forever grateful. Now, our group is over 40 guys strong and I don't think we would be anywhere near that if it wasn't for Captain Jack. He always treated us as equals, not a bunch of young punks (which we probably were). He was always so kind, so generous and so caring. Over the years, his time at the course went down but the love we had for him never did and never will. My grandfather used to refer to men that he loved as 'decent men.' You couldn't get a higher compliment from my PawPaw than that. Well, Jack Corbett was a decent man.  We all love and miss you Jack. I just hope we all do good enough down here, to get to play another round with you on the other side. Rest easy, my friend.

So sorry for your loss.  I sure enjoyed getting to know Jack and yourself and share so many happy memories, especially our trip to Branson.  He was a generous, kind and gentle man; I am so blessed to be able to call him a great friend.  Sending prayers for you and your family!  Take care!!

Chip and I are heartbroken at the news of Dr. Corbett's passing.  What a wonderful man, mentor and friend!  His smile was contagious and his sparkling eyes lit up any room.  We had many, many great times together and we know that we shall see him again very soon.

We just lost our son in June, 2 days before his 28th birthday.  Every single day we get messages from him in ways we understand.  You will see Jack again and he is very close to you now.

Great friend for 35 years.
Bill and I bowled with Jack and Diane 35 years ago and stayed friends.  He was also our dentist and later my boss.  He was very loved and respected.

One of the sweetest men I’ve ever met!  You can see his true nature just by seeing his smile. It’s like he smiles with his heart. George and I have only known Jack and  Diane a couple of years. We will miss Jack and hold sweet memories of him. Prayers to Diane and family as they grieve for the loss of this special man!  😘❤️

Jack was first , my dentist! And probably saved my life from his detection of Diabetes. We also golfed with he and his Beautiful Diane. I can’t think of a time whereby his gleaming smile was not present.., and always a kind word about anyone his path should cross.  Jack and Diane went together like peanut butter and jelly, both so supporting and encouraging to one another. 
My only regret is that we let too much time pass between us❤️

Dr. Corbett was an amazing person. He was such a caring , loving and compassionate boss. He always made me laugh with his sense of humor. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time Diane.  He will be missed dearly!

Dr. Corbett was a true gentleman. He truly cared about people and was so kind, caring and giving. I was so blessed to have him as my boss for so many years and I give him much credit for shaping me into the person I am today.  He brought so much brightness and laughter to our office and helped make our office more than a job, it became our second family.  RIP Dr. C - I can see you monitoring those halls in your heavenly home!

Dr. Corbett gave me my first job in high school and was always such a wonderful person to work for and be around. I learned so much about dentistry but even more about how to treat others.  His kindness was never ending and he is going to be missed.

How I was blessed by God , as I admired and loved him with all my Heart and Soul. 
The most precious Man I ever had the honor to take care of and share all we shared.  So unique of a Man to be so strong yet so tender. I knew I would have to share him with others  No one owned him as grass didn’t grow under his feet. He needed to fly and have no boundaries as he kept himself in control. Always inventing things and so many business adventures it makes me tired to know he didn’t sleep much being pulled in every direction. I knew that when we dated that he needed his space. Let me be gone an hour and he would hunt me down which I loved. I knew if I wanted to see him I had to get involved in business with him. So I did and we really rocked together. I miss his twinkling blue eyes his sweet deep warm kisses and embrace . Our talks ,walks ,dogs.
