On September 9, 1956, a baby boy was born to J.C. Moore, Sr and Jeraline Moore in Houston, Texas. They named him J.C. Moore, Jr. He was the oldest out of 4 children. He graduated from M.C. Williams High School in 1975. After graduation he attended Bishop College. He accepted Christ at Wright Grove Baptist Church. As he continued his journey, he met the love of his life in 1978 and later married Cleo Moore on October 17, 1981 and joined her at Greater True Vine Baptist Church. To this union two children were born, Da’Rel and Ja’Rod Moore, added to his two children from previous relationships Terrance Jolly and Matthew Demerson. J.C. worked at the City of Houston from 1988 to 2020, through the years, he spent his leisure time taking his wife on cruises and engaging in family activities.
He is preceded in death by his mother Jeraline Moore and grandson Matthew Demerson, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his beautiful wife Cleo Moore, four sons Da’Rel Moore (Shantel), Ja’Rod Moore, Terrance Jolly and Matthew Demerson, Sr. (Jessica). His father J.C. Moore, Sr. and three sisters Beverly Bradford, Sandra Wright and Satara Victorian, four granddaughters Brooke Moore, Mariah, Jesiah, and Janecia Demerson, two grandsons Devin Hill and Thespian Kimble and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends
