Israel was preceded in death by Alfredo Villarreal, father; Dominga Salinas Villarreal, mother; Alfredo Villarreal Jr., brother; Richard Villarreal, brother; Leopoldo Villarreal, brother; Raul Villarreal, brother; Emily Ybarra, sister; Consuelo Ramos, sister; and Lydia Lopez, sister.

He is survived by Elizabeth Villarreal, wife; Cynthia (James) Clark, daughter; Valerie Villarreal, daughter; Shelby Clark, granddaughter; Hannah Clark, granddaughter; Esteban Villarreal, brother; and Esperanza Velez, sister; along with numerous nieces and nephews and other beloved family and friends.

Israel graduated from Edinburg High School in 1967. He met Elizabeth Demny in Houston, Texas and married on April 22, 1972. Israel worked in manufacturing at Service Wire for many years. Israel was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros fan. He cherished spending time with family and friends. Israel’s proudest moments were the births of his daughters and granddaughters. He lived his life dedicated to his family and God.

A visitation for Israel will be held Friday, September 13, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A graveside service will occur Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cem, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338.
