She was a Resident of the Magnolia park neighborhood for the past 77 years. She was the owner Of Reyna's Florist on 75th and Avenue I in Magnolia for over 40 years. She was also actively involved in many civic activities for the betterment of her beloved neighborhood, Magnolia Park. She was a Graduate Of Milby High School.
She is the daughter of Joe A. Reyna and Mary T. Reyna also know as 'La Reyna de las Flores'. Mary was a renowned civic leader and stalwart for the Magnolia Community and a leader in the Latino community throughout her illustrious life. She was preceded in death by her sister Gloria Reyna Peña, Amelia Johnson, and brothers Joe A. Reyna Jr. and Robert Reyna.
Christine is survived by her sons; Luis Ybarra III and wife Aurora and Jason Troy Ybarra .Her grandchildren; Kyle Ybarra, Evan Ybarra, Rocco Ybarra, and Ava Ybarra. Her sister Soila Reyna Lawrence,
and her nephews Samuel Peña, Anthony Reyna, Robert Reyna, Jr., Joe P. Reyna, Robert Dorsey, Elvin Johnson, and nieces Cynthia, Monnique and Denise Reyna.
