Irene Radford, 82, passed away on July 12, 2013, of natural causes. She was born on September 26, 1930 to Joseph Page and Lillian Arceneaux in Houston, Texas. She married Elmo Curry and together they had three sons, David, Robert and Ronald, and a daughter, Wanda. Irene lived and worked in Houston serving others. She enjoyed dancing, and loved life and her family.
Irene is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Walter Page, Benjamin Page, and Henry Page, and sister, Mary Ann Palmas. She is survived by her children, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Horton and Dorothy Smith; brothers, Don Page and Johnny Page, and other loving family members and friends. A visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2013 in the chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, where a Rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., followed immediately by a graveside service in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
